Harbortech Solutions FZCO ("HarborTech", "we", "us") is a software company registered in the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with its office at IFZA Business Park, Nadd Hessa, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We collect only what you choose to give us and the minimal technical data needed to serve the site.

• Enquiries: when you use the contact form, your name, company, role, work email, sector and message are sent to our team inbox as an email. Nothing is stored on this website.
• Newsletter: the work email address you enter, plus the date you subscribed.
• Correspondence: anything you include in emails, calls or meetings with us.
• Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and capacity purposes.
• Usage data: how visitors use the site, such as the pages viewed, time spent, device and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity also records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement so we can see where a page is hard to use.

This website uses analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure how the site is used and to improve it. They do not identify you by name and are not used for advertising. Clarity masks text typed into forms, so what you write in the contact form is not recorded. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

We use the data described above for a small number of purposes:

• To respond to enquiries and to scope, propose and deliver our services.
• To send the newsletter you asked for. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the website secure, detect abuse and diagnose faults.
• To understand how the site is used and improve its pages and navigation.
• To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the newsletter, on our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to business enquiries, and on the performance of a contract when you become a client. Under the UAE PDPL we process data on the same grounds, including consent and the legitimate purposes of a business relationship.

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our instructions: our email and hosting providers, our analytics providers (Google and Microsoft), our newsletter platform and our professional advisers. Each is bound by a contract that limits what they may do with the data. We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

We are based in the UAE and our providers may store data in the UAE, the EU or other countries. Where data leaves the country it was collected in, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or transfer to jurisdictions with adequate protection.

• Enquiry correspondence: up to three years after our last contact, or for the life of the client relationship plus the legal retention period.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, after which your address is deleted within 30 days.
• Server logs: no more than 12 months.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege administration for the systems that hold personal data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email info@harbortech.ae. We aim to reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UAE, complaints may be directed to the UAE Data Office.

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
